For the last nine years, The City of Refuge International (CORI) has used bicycles for the transportation and distribution of food to its numerous foster homes and feeding centers across Kamina. Due to the rising cost of food, together with transportation challenges, CORI has been in dire need of a delivery truck. After recently launching a capital campaign to purchase a truck, CORI raised the thousands of dollars needed to purchase a truck. The truck facilitates travel to economical food sources, allowing for larger food purchases within the allotted food budget. Now, larger quantities of food are available for distribution amongst CORI’s program recipients.
